I shot Oli and Georgie engagment photos about a year ago. They initially planned for their wedding this year but because of COVID-19, they had to postpone it to next year. So they had a micro wedding instead with their closest and dearest.
This was my first wedding after the lockdown. Due to the limited guest size and availability of venue space, they decided to celebrate their marriage at the parents’ garden.
Their intimate garden wedding was so beautiful. We started off at the St James church at Gerrards Cross. The rain didn’t stop us one bit.
It was laid back, sweet and personal. Close friends they’ve known from the age of four and immediate family were there to celebrate with them. The parents also decorated the garden with lovely handsewn bunting.
They had pizza in the marquee while the rain kept pouring down. The dad gave a heartwarming speech followed by the couple’s first dance.
Even though the wedding was not how they initially planned, the day turned out beautifully. Enjoy the gallery below.
