Marc and Beth initially planned for a wedding in 2020. Due to COVID-19, they had to reorganise their wedding plan. Having to postponed their wedding to next year, they didn’t give up and decided to hold a micro wedding this year instead.
The wedding day started in the morning at Beth parents’ house where she gets ready. At Lewes civil office, there were only seven of us with a designated area to stand.
They made personalised face coverings for their family members that were at the ceremony. On top of that, Beth leather jacket was also personalised. After they exchanged their vows, we headed off to the back garden for some photos.
With a less rigid timescale for micro wedding, we were able to stop by a local pub for a drink (just me and the couple) after the ceremony. Supporting local business, Marc and Beth include a Sussex Nuptial Ale as one of the beverages in the picnic set for their guests. I love how they personalised the small little wedding details to match their personality.
At Wickerwood Farm, they exchanged rings and gave their speeches. Guests managed to social distancing safely and stay in their own bubble. It was a beautiful and intimate wedding. How incredible they pull this wedding off in such a short time with wedding vendors.
