  1.  Hedsor House England 

Nestled in 100 acres of green parkland and only 45-minutes west of London, Hedsor House is the ultimate in stately home grandeur. A beautiful Georgian building, this venue exudes luxury with 13 guest rooms for you, your friends and family to stay in, manicured gardens, classic architecture, and a sophisticated interior palette of gold, white and wood. Venue hire at Hedsor House is exclusive, meaning the house and grounds become your playground for the duration of your wedding. 

Accommodation: Hedsor House has an impressive bridal suite plus 12 guest bedrooms to accommodate your nearest and dearest. 

Transport: The venue is located approximately 24 miles away from West London.

  1. Rackleys

Located in the heart of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Buckinghamshire, Rackleys is a wedding venue with plenty of rustic charm. Lying at the centre of its stunning grounds is its 300-year-old restored barnhouse, which acts as the beating heart of this beautiful venue. The venue’s superb staff and acclaimed in-house caterer are guaranteed to make conducting your wedding at Rackleys a wonderful experience.

Transport: Rackleys is conveniently located 6.6 miles from High Wycombe Station and 25 miles from Heathrow airport. For those travelling by car, the venue offers ample parking.


  1. Notley Abbey 

The medieval Notley Abbey is an award-winning country house wedding venue. Located in the green and lush Buckinghamshire countryside, the Abbey – with its majestic Monk’s refectory and outdoors walled garden – provides the perfect backdrop for those looking for a wedding venue steeped in history. To add to it’s appeal, this venue is uniquely available for exclusive use. This means you can end the day with a beautiful fireworks display before dancing until the early hours.

Transport: The venue is conveniently located 5.1 miles from the nearest train station (Haddenham and Thame Parkway), and 16.5 miles from Oxford and its transport links. 

  1. Huntsmill Farm 

Huntsmill Farm is a converted 18th-century barnhouse in the Buckinghamshire countryside. This rural barn is the perfect location for those looking for a low-key yet still luxurious wedding venue. Since work began to renovate the barnhouse in 2017, this family-run venue has been the backdrop to a whole host of intimate, rustic-style weddings.

Accomodation: Huntsmill Farm offers 7 cosy cottages as accommodation for you and your wedding guests.

Transport: While Huntsmill Farm is best accessed by car. However, it can also be reached via train to Bicester, which has strong transport links to London, and is only 10 miles away.

  1. Horwood House 

The perfect combination of heritage and comfort, Horwood House is a charming venue located in the heart of the English countryside. This stunning Grade II listed Manor House, with its perfectly manicured Gardens and 38-acre grounds, provides the perfect backdrop to any wedding. Thanks to its recent £5.5 million renovation, this venue now offers up a combination of classical architecture and contemporary design, making it a guaranteed crowd pleaser. 

Accommodation: Horwood House operates as a hotel. This means it has plenty of rooms to house you and your guests.

Transport: The venue is 10 miles from Milton Keynes rail station.

  1. Chicheley Hall Hotel 

Looking for something spectacular? Then choose Chicheley Hall, one of England’s finest stately homes and a perfect example of early 18th-century architecture. This stunning Grade I listed mansion has been used as a filming location for the iconic TV adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, which is no surprise given the venue’s dramatic architecture, including grand staircases and high ceilings. The building’s brick facade adds to its period charm, along with its big windows, which flood the space with light. Chicheley Hall is ideal for couples looking for a stunning statement venue.

Accommodation: Chicheley Hall has 48 individually refurbished rooms on-site to act as accommodation. 

Transport:Chicheley Hall is a mere 7 miles from Milton Keynes rail station. It’s also easily accessible by car, with free parking available to all guests.

  1. The Dairy at Waddesdon 

The Dairy at Waddesdon is the definition of a countryside haven and perfect for those who want period luxury that’s a little understated. Located on the land of the Waddesdon Manor Estate, a grand, fairytale-like castle which was created for the Rothschild family in the 19th century, the Dairy itself is more modest but no less magical. With exclusive use of the Dairy, you and your wedding guests gain access to a number of beautiful spaces, including a glass “winter garden” room, a charming West Hall with vaulted ceilings, and lakeside terraces. 

Accommodation: Waddesdon Manor offers up The Five Arrows Hotel, a hotel on its land, for exclusive use for wedding parties. The hotel has 16 bedrooms and can be yours for the duration of the wedding. 

Transport: Waddesdon Manor is 1/1.5 hour drive from London and 30 mins drive from Oxford. its nearest train station is Aylesbury Vale Parkway. 

  1. Dorney Court 

Situated in Dorney, the most southerly village in Buckinghamshire, Dorney Court is a magnificent Tudor Manor House set in acres of lush green parkland. A still and tranquil spot, surprisingly near to London, this venue is rich in English history and heritage. The venue’s many period features, including its gabled roofs, meticulously manicured gardens and very own 12th century church, make it ideal for those looking for a wedding venue straight out of a story book.

Transport: Dorney Court is located 26 miles from Central London, 15 miles from Heathrow Airport, 10 miles from M40 (J4 High Wycombe) and 2 miles from mainline rail services.
