Last Summer, I shot the beautiful wedding of Elli and Gerard. Their wedding took place in Athens, Greece at the stunning Casa E Campo.
It was through their friend’s wedding that I got to know them. Both Elli and Gerard wanted a natural style without too many staged photos. To organise the wedding, the couple worked with MBW Events who are based in Athens.
Elli and Gerard choose to have their big day at Casa E Campo, a beautiful Greecian venue at the base of Mount Parnitha. The country estate boasts its own on-site St George chapel, a beautiful outdoor space, a dance floor, a pool, and a studio available for the wedding party to get prepared for the big day.
The inspiration for the wedding was lavender, both the flower and the colour. They created a natural, open-air, glittering, floral wonderland. It was a classic yet unique-to-the-couple Mediterannean wedding.
The tablescape created for the wedding breakfast was based around the flowers and classic Grecian blue and white tableware. Beautiful floral centerpieces were created for the reception tables using tall delphiniums sitting in traditional Grecian vases.
As the sun set, the fairy lights strung throughout the courtyard came to life creating a magical atmosphere for the reception.
